Everything stays on your phone. Videos, photos and songs never get uploaded anywhere — all the editing and saving happens right in the browser.

To use it: open this page in Safari on the iPhone, tap the Share button, and choose Add to Home Screen so it looks like a real app.

Adding videos: after tapping the checkmark, the iPhone prepares each video before handing it over — big videos can take a little while. Each one shows up as a card that says "Getting ready…" and then shows its picture.

Saving: "Save my movie" builds the video, then Put it in Photos opens the share menu — pick Save Video there and it lands in the Photos app (not Files/iCloud Drive), ready to upload to YouTube. The "save as a file" button is the backup and goes to Files instead. Rendering plays the movie through once, so a 2-minute movie takes about 2 minutes. Keep the screen on!

Music: the built-in tunes are generated right here, so they're safe for YouTube. "Add a song from the phone" uses a music file (Apple Music streaming songs won't work, and copyrighted songs can get YouTube videos muted). Every song you add is kept in the song box on this phone, so the kids can just tap it next time.

Voice recording: the 🎤 button in a clip's editor records a voice-over through the phone's microphone — the first time, iOS will ask you to allow the mic. Recordings stay on the phone like everything else.

Songs from Envato Elements: download the track (MP3) from elements.envato.com on the iPhone — it lands in the Files app — then tap "Add a song from the phone" here and pick it. It joins the song box for good. Tip: in your Envato account, register/whitelist the kids' YouTube channel for each track so their videos don't get copyright-flagged.
